Their primary objective was to design a system that allows exhaust gases to flow through a straight path when the valves are open. To achieve this, they incorporated a larger tubing diameter, smooth radius bends, and optimized X-pipe crossover flow characteristics. These enhancements improve exhaust scavenging effects, leading to increased volumetric efficiency, and ultimately result in a drastic improvement in throttle response and overall performance compared to the restrictive factory sport exhaust system.

Development & Testing
