When the valves are opened, the system unleashes a captivating flat-six wail as exhaust gases flow freely through a straight-through path and exit through the selected exhaust tips. Development

• SOUL Performance developed a dedicated application for the Porsche 981 platform by precisely sizing the 2-inch runners and collectors to extract maximum power from the 3.4L engine while still delivering strong gains on the 2.7L. Appropriately sized, high-flow catalytic converters were selected to support optimal power output and long-term durability, avoiding the compromises associated with smaller, lower-quality catalysts. The system was engineered to deliver a broad, refined sound spectrum—Cup car–inspired and aggressive with the valves open, yet composed and virtually free of drone with the valves closed. SOUL Performance mufflers are specifically designed to minimize droning, maintaining a reserved exhaust character even when paired with aftermarket headers.

Construction

• SOUL Performance precision-engineers its headers from T304L stainless steel, incorporating proven design elements such as port-matched flanges, smooth-radius primary tubing, and optimized collectors to maximize exhaust flow and power gains. Every set is meticulously fabricated and rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping. Each system is constructed from mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel tubing and features mufflers with fortified casings to ensure long-term durability.

Bolt On and Go

• Each SOUL Performance exhaust is test-fit in a dedicated fixture to verify proper fitment, then foam packed to help ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Detailed installation instructions are included for a straightforward install that most DIY enthusiasts can complete. Valve operation is controlled through the factory valve button, SOUL’s valve controller fobs, and is compatible with HomeLink.
