SOUL Performance Sport Exhaust Package for 982 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport

SOUL Performance developed the Sport Package for the Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport (2019+) as a complete exhaust upgrade that combines the SOUL Valved Exhaust System and SOUL Competition Over Axle Pipes, along with the required Clubsport Exhaust Mounting Kit, to deliver a major improvement in sound, flow, and track-focused durability with true dual-mode control. Using a bespoke X-pipe-based valved design and SOUL Performance’s anti-drone engineering, valves-open operation produces a smooth, sporty, GT3-like tone with increased exhaust flow, while valves-closed mode reduces exterior volume for tracks with stricter sound limits without stripping the car’s character. The package is engineered specifically for the 718 GT4 Clubsport with the included mounting kit, provides approximately an 11lb (4.9kg) weight savings versus OEM, and is fabricated in-house in Willow Grove, PA from mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel with back-purged TIG welding and precision-cut flanges for long-term reliability under track conditions. Configured here to reuse the OEM tips and supplied with the SOUL Valve Controller Kit, it adds convenient valve control to override factory programming when desired, and it is backed by SOUL Performance’s lifetime warranty for both street and track use.

Research and Development

Construction

• SOUL Performance assembles each system in-house in the USA using mandrel-bent, thick-wall 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding with ARCAL Prime argon gas is used to ensure proper weld penetration and long-term durability. Waterjet-cut flanges are produced to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for exceptional precision. Each exhaust is fabricated in thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as effective heat sinks during welding to prevent warping of both the components and the fixtures, helping ensure consistent, precise fitment.
