SOUL Performance Sport Catalytic Converter X-Pipe for 993 Porsche 911 Carrera
SOUL Performance’s Sport Catalytic Converter X-Pipe for the 993 Porsche 911 Carrera wakes up the last air-cooled 911 with genuine high-flow catalytic converters built into a hand-made X-pipe, for more power and a richer flat-six voice with no check-engine light. Built in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania from thick-wall 2.5-inch, 0.065-inch T304L stainless with mandrel bends and HJS 200-cell high-flow converters, it cuts backpressure and weight while keeping the car emissions-friendly. Independent dyno testing showed peak gains of about 8 horsepower and 8 lb-ft, with more than 15 horsepower through the upper midrange in comparison to the factory system. It is offered to match your car’s exact flange and oxygen-sensor setup, and is backed by SOUL’s lifetime warranty.
Construction
Each X-pipe is built from thick-wall 2.5-inch, 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel with mandrel bends and robust flanges, assembled in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. It weighs about 6.55 pounds less than the factory components, is fixture-tested for fitment, foam-packed, and ships with new hardware for the X-pipe-to-header connection.
HJS High-Flow Catalytic Converters
The system is built around HJS 200-cell high-flow catalytic converters with a double-foil HF design that meets EURO 3 standards. Running genuine high-flow converters adds flow and sound while keeping the car free of check-engine lights, so you get the performance without giving up emissions function.
Power
Independent dyno testing, averaged over three runs, showed peak gains of about 8 horsepower and 8 lb-ft, with more than 15 horsepower through the upper midrange in comparison to the factory system. Gains can increase further with a supporting ECU tune.
Bolt-On and Go
Each system is fixture-tested for fitment and ships with installation instructions and new X-pipe-to-header flange hardware, so it installs as a direct bolt-on for an experienced installer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which cars does the SOUL Sport Catalytic Converter X-Pipe fit? The Sport Catalytic Converter X-Pipe fits all 993 Porsche 911 Carrera models from 1994 to 1998, including the Carrera, Carrera S, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, and Targa, all with the 3.6-liter flat-six. Choose the variation that matches your flange and oxygen-sensor setup.
How do I know which flange and sensor version to choose? Early cars from 1994 to 1996.5 use the Bischoff flange; later cars from 1996 to 1998 use the Gillet flange. OBD1 cars have a single oxygen-sensor bung and OBD2 cars have four. Check your model year and sensor count, and select the matching variation.
Does it keep catalytic converters and avoid a check-engine light? Yes. It is built around HJS 200-cell high-flow catalytic converters that meet EURO 3 standards, so it adds flow and sound while keeping emissions function and running without a check-engine light when used as intended.
How much power does it add? Independent dyno testing showed peak gains of about 8 horsepower and 8 lb-ft, with more than 15 horsepower through the upper midrange in comparison to the factory system. A supporting ECU tune can increase the gains further.
How is it built? It is made from thick-wall 2.5-inch, 0.065-inch T304L stainless steel with mandrel bends and robust flanges, in-house in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. It weighs about 6.55 pounds less than the factory components and ships with new X-pipe-to-header hardware.
Is it street legal, and is it warrantied? It is not CARB approved and is not for sale in California or other states that require CARB certification, so confirm the rules where you drive. Professional installation is recommended, and SOUL backs it with a lifetime warranty for materials and workmanship.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy
-+
Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
