SOUL Performance Race Exhaust System with Dual Wall Tips for 982 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport

SOUL Performance developed the SOUL Race Exhaust System for the Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport (2019+) as a track-focused, high-flow 2.5-inch solution that combines over axle pipes and a rear section to extract more sound and performance from the 3.8L platform. By reengineering the exhaust behind the headers, SOUL eliminates the factory dual exit-entry flange restriction that effectively necks the system down to 2.25 inches, replacing it with a true 2.5-inch flow path on each side while still accommodating factory-style tip mounting. A longer routing with a subtle X-style blend helps smooth the tone and push it higher inspired by the character of the previous 981 generation while maintaining the clearances needed for hard track use. The system delivers up to 29.9lb (13.5kg) of weight savings versus the factory components (27.5lb non-res vs 57.4lb factory). SOUL Performance also designed this setup to help avoid a check engine light on North American vehicles. Performance testing on a Dynojet by Jotech Motorsports recorded peak gains of 30.7 whp and 16.1 ft-lbs of torque, with an ECU tune recommended to further take advantage of the increased flow. Every system is fabricated in-house in Willow Grove, PA using mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel with back-purged TIG welding and precision-cut flanges produced to ISO 9001:2015 tolerances. Each exhaust is fixture test-fit, foam packed, and shipped with new high-grade hardware plus four OEM Porsche gaskets for a true bolt-on installation, and it is backed by SOUL Performance’s lifetime warranty for both street and track use.

Construction

• SOUL Performance assembles each system in-house in the USA using mandrel-bent, thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding with ARCAL Prime argon gas is used to ensure proper weld penetration and long-term durability. Waterjet-cut flanges are produced to ISO 9001:2015 standards with +/- 0.003-inch tolerances for exceptional precision. SOUL fabricates these over axle pipes in thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as a heat sink during welding, preventing warping of both the components and the fixtures to maintain consistent, perfect fitment.
