The SOUL Performance Products Long Tube Street Headers for the Porsche 981 GT4, Boxster Spyder, and Clubsport (2015-2016) are engineered to unlock more power, sharper throttle response, and a richer flat-six tone from the 3.8L while maintaining street-friendly drivability. Built around large, free-flowing catalytic converters and long-tube runners, this dedicated 981 application uses properly sized 2-inch runners and correctly matched collectors to support sustained high-RPM use where the GT4 thrives, delivering added performance without triggering a check engine light. Developed with durability in mind, the catalysts are selected for both flow and longevity, avoiding undersized, budget cores that can become a limiting factor when heat and RPM climb. In third-party Dyno Dynamics testing, gains of 30 whp were recorded when paired with a tune, with an additional 12 whp attributed to the Street Headers after the tune was applied. Each header is constructed from T304L stainless steel and incorporates proven flow-focused details including port-matched flanges, smooth-radius primary tubing, and optimized collectors. Development
