SOUL Performance Exhaust System for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera (non PSE)
The SOUL Performance Exhaust System for the 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S without PSE gives the cars Porsche shipped with a deliberately muted voice the sound they should have had from the factory, without the boomy cabin drone that plagues cheaper aftermarket systems. SOUL hand-makes each system in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania from thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel, back-purge TIG welded and fixture-tested for fit, and backs the original owner with a lifetime materials and workmanship warranty for street and track use. The engineering that matters here is drone control: the non-PSE 991.2 is notorious for resonance between 1,800 and 2,200 rpm, so SOUL developed Helmholtz anti-drone tubes that kill that frequency while keeping the richer, fuller turbocharged flat-six tone intact. For the Carrera owner who was shortchanged on sound but refuses to live with drone, this is the exhaust built around the problem.
Development and Testing
SOUL found that resonators alone dropped volume and tone without sufficiently taming the non-PSE car’s 1,800 to 2,200 rpm drone, so the system was engineered around Helmholtz anti-drone tubes that target that specific resonance; the result adds real tone to a quiet factory exhaust while keeping the cabin civil, and the version without anti-drone tubes delivers the same exterior volume and tone for owners who do not mind the drone.
Construction
Each system is hand-made from thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel, mandrel-bent for clean flow and back-purge TIG welded for strong, clean joints that hold up to heat and track use. Every unit is quality-checked in-house, fixture-tested for fitment, and foam-packed so it arrives ready to bolt on. Tips are configurable: reuse the factory tips, or finish the rear with SOUL Polished Chrome or Black Chrome tips.
Bolt-On and Go
The system is designed as a bolt-on that a mechanically confident owner can complete, with installation instructions in the box and each unit fixture-tested before it ships; budget extra time for the factory heat-shield fasteners, which can be stubborn, and many owners have a shop handle the job to be safe.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the SOUL Performance Exhaust System fit my 991.2 Carrera? It fits the 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S without Porsche Sport Exhaust, from 2017 to 2019, with the 3.0L twin-turbo flat-six. It does not fit PSE-equipped cars, which use a different exhaust. When ordering, select your factory exhaust as Base Model or S Model so the correct inlet and tip setup is supplied.
Which tips should I choose? It depends on your catalytic setup. Running the factory cats, base cars reuse the factory tips and S cars use the base-model dual tips. SOUL Polished Chrome or Black Chrome tips are used when you are running SOUL Sport Cats, so match your tip choice to your cat setup to avoid a fitment mismatch.
Will it drone? The non-PSE 991.2 is prone to resonance between 1,800 and 2,200 rpm with most aftermarket exhausts. The With Anti-Drone Tubes option uses Helmholtz resonators engineered to cancel that specific frequency, so the cabin stays civil. The Without option has the same tone and exterior volume but does not reduce drone.
Does it add valves or a tune? No. This is a non-valved rear exhaust that opens up the tone of the quiet non-PSE factory system, and it needs no tune and triggers no check engine light. The sound is a fuller, richer version of the turbocharged flat-six rather than a valved loud-and-quiet system.
What is the SOUL Performance Exhaust System made from? It is hand-made from thick-wall .065-inch T304L stainless steel, mandrel-bent and back-purge TIG welded for clean, durable joints, and fixture-tested for fitment. SOUL backs the original owner with a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship for street and track use.
Is it a bolt-on install? Yes. It bolts on in place of the factory rear exhaust with instructions in the box, and each unit is fixture-tested before shipping. Set aside extra time for the factory heat-shield fasteners, which owners report can be stubborn, and many choose to have a shop fit the system.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well.
For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
