Development & Testing

• In the 996 Carrera, the catalytic converters are integrated into the rear exhaust, making it essential to focus on optimizing the flow of the factory flow paths. By improving the interface between the flange / primary tubes, incorporating smooth-radius, large-diameter bends, and implementing a collector that evenly combines each primary input, we have successfully created a smoother exhaust flow path from the factory headers, which lack a true 3-1 merge collector. This design also provides a greater volume for 3.6L S model engines. These enhancements effectively increase exhaust flow and optimize your Porsche exhaust system without compromising sound quality, emissions, or triggering any check engine lights.
