Which Corvette does the Carbon Rear Diffuser fit?

The Carbon Rear Diffuser fits the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 from the 2023 model year onward, with its 5.5-liter LT6 flat-plane V8. It is designed for the Z06 specifically and is not a fit for the Stingray, E-Ray, or ZR1, whose rear bodywork and diffuser differ from the Z06's.

Is it a direct replacement for the factory diffuser?

Yes. It mounts to the Z06's factory diffuser locations and replaces the body-color panel with carbon fiber. No cutting or permanent modification to the car is required, so the change can be reversed by refitting the original diffuser if you ever choose to.

How is it installed and can I do it myself?

Many owners install the diffuser at home with hand tools, and SOUL provides a step-by-step install guide. Because the part sits in the rear bumper area, some owners prefer a shop to ensure clean panel gaps and a flush fit. Either way, no cutting is needed.

What is the SOUL Carbon Rear Diffuser made from?

It is made from hand-built carbon fiber, manufactured and quality-controlled at SOUL's workshop in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. The panel is lightweight and aerodynamically optimized, finished to replace the factory diffuser while giving the rear of the Z06 a carbon surface in place of the painted original.

Will the diffuser change how the car performs?

The diffuser is an aerodynamically optimized replacement for the factory panel, built mainly to cut weight at the rear and finish the Z06's underbody in carbon. SOUL does not publish a specific downforce figure for it, so treat it as a styling and weight upgrade rather than a measured aerodynamic gain.

Where is it made and is it guaranteed?

SOUL Performance builds the diffuser by hand in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, in the United States, and backs it with a lifetime warranty to the original owner. That warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for both street and track use, so track days do not void your coverage.

Description

SOUL Performance Carbon Rear Diffuser for C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

SOUL Performance’s Carbon Rear Diffuser for the C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 treats the car’s most aggressive surface as seriously as Chevrolet treated its flat-plane V8. The Z06 was built to trade blows with the established European exotics, and its rear end is where that intent shows; this diffuser sharpens it, replacing the painted factory panel with hand-built carbon fiber that keeps weight low at the very back of the car while lifting the look to match the hardware above it. SOUL builds the piece by hand in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, the same shop whose exhaust and carbon work has earned a following among Porsche and Corvette owners, and finishes it to sit flush against the Z06’s bodywork with no cutting or guesswork. For an owner who already bought the most focused Corvette ever made, it is the detail that tells the people behind them exactly what they are looking at.

Design and Performance

The diffuser works the air leaving the underbody of the mid-engined Z06, the region where a modern performance car manages rear lift and drag. SOUL’s panel keeps the factory’s functional intent while giving the surface a finished carbon face that reads as purpose rather than decoration. On a car whose rear deck is dominated by its engine and wing, the body-color plastic diffuser is the one area that still looks ordinary; in carbon, the whole rear of the car finally matches.

Construction

SOUL builds and finishes every diffuser by hand at its Willow Grove, Pennsylvania workshop and makes it to fit the Z06’s bodywork directly, so it mounts to the factory locations without cutting or permanent modification. Each panel is quality-controlled before it ships and carries SOUL’s lifetime warranty to the original owner. Because the part is made in the United States rather than drop-shipped from overseas, the carbon and the fitment are held to the standard SOUL puts its own name on.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
