Silver Rocket’s V-Frame Tailgate with Lightweight Glass for the 981 and 982 Porsche Boxster and Cayman is a purpose-built upgrade designed to deliver exceptional aerodynamic performance and weight reduction. Constructed from aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber, the tailgate sheds 20.7lbs compared to the OEM Cayman tailgate and wing assembly. The integrated Super Strong V-Frame and honeycomb core provide the structural strength to support backward-extended wing setups and manage downforce loads with outstanding stability. Engineered to complement the carbon fiber aesthetics of the GT4 RS Weissach Pack, the system also includes Silver Rocket’s HD lightweight polycarbonate glass—an impact-resistant alternative to the factory’s fragile thin rear glass. Fully compatible with OEM GT4 RS wing supports and Silver Rocket’s dry carbon wing risers, the tailgate is also available in a touring version by special order.

• The SR super strong v-frame and honeycomb reinforced core are engineered to support larger wings, handling downforce levels of up to 600kg (1,322lbs) with exceptional stability.
