RYFT’s carbon fiber rear deck spoiler for McLaren Artura cars is the restrained choice at the back of the RYFT range: a spoiler at deck height rather than the tall adjustable GT wing RYFT also builds for the car. The factory Artura already carries a spoiler that McLaren says works with the diffuser to produce 50 kg of downforce, and that also helps carry hot air from the engine chimney. We would choose this part for an Artura driven mostly on the road, whose owner wants carbon at the tail without the visual weight of a wing.

Design

The Artura’s tail is compact, with a short rear overhang, a raked rear screen and a rear clamshell built with very few shut lines. That leaves little room for a large add-on, which is why a deck-level spoiler suits the proportions of the car for many owners. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer.
