Tandem

• The Tandem model is ingeniously designed as a two-piece configuration, consisting of a machined front face that seamlessly integrates into a forged barrel. This innovative structure combines the versatility of the Trinity model with the durability of the Unibloc, featuring an external lip that allows for customization of the barrel size, hardware selections, and various finishing options to suit personal tastes.

The Rohana Process

• Step 1 – Designing / Engineering: The design phase is a critical part of producing a forged wheel, laying the groundwork for all subsequent manufacturing steps. This stage requires meticulous attention to multiple factors to guarantee that the resulting product is aesthetically pleasing, effective, and secure. Every design is meticulously engineered to accommodate brake clearances and is subjected to a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tailored to the specific vehicle.
• Step 2 – Lathe: In the lathe operation, pre-formed cylindrical aluminum pieces known as wheel blanks are affixed to a lathe machine and spun at a rapid pace. A cutting instrument, directed by the machine, trims away material from the blanks, sculpting them into the intended wheel design. The accuracy of this lathe procedure is vital, as it impacts the wheel’s precision and stability. The outcome is a wheel characterized by exact dimensions, uniform thickness, and a polished finish.
• Step 3 – CNC Milling: The CNC milling process is governed by a computerized program, employing precise algorithms to meticulously shape the wheel blank according to the detailed specifications provided in the design blueprint. This method boasts high precision and is capable of effortlessly creating wheels with complex and detailed geometries. The outcome of the CNC milling operation is a wheel characterized by its exact dimensions and a smooth surface, prepared for additional processing and finishing touches.
• Step 4 – Engraving: The engraving step marks the culmination of Rohana’s forged wheel production process. In this phase, specialized tools are employed to inscribe or etch decorative patterns or logos onto the wheel’s surface. This technique imbues the wheel with a distinctive flair, crafting a bespoke appearance that distinguishes it from the rest.
• Step 5 – Finishing: Following the removal of any residual debris from the engraving stage through sandblasting, the wheel undergoes powder coating and a clear coat is applied. This serves to shield it against corrosion and various environmental influences. Not only does this phase improve the wheel’s aesthetic appeal, but it also prolongs its durability and preserves its quality.
• Step 6 – Assembly & Quality Control: In the assembly phase, the separate parts of the wheel, including the face, inner barrel, and outer barrel, are assembled and tightly joined to form a unified, finished wheel. Upon completion of the assembly, the wheel undergoes a series of tests and checks to verify that it conforms to the necessary standards and specifications.
