After a season of rigorous testing, Rampage Fabrication proudly presents the most meticulously designed and functional Frunk Mount Ice Tank for the 2017+ R8 platform, expertly balancing street usability with race day performance. Manufactured in-house and fully TIG welded, this tank boasts a substantial 5-gallon capacity and is equipped with a high-flow PWM-controlled water pump, delivering a peak flow of 220l/min at 0.55 bar. This ensures optimal cooling for intercoolers and intake temperatures during high-performance runs. Rampage Fabrication has also engineered a minimally intrusive mounting solution that is not only aesthetically clean but also easy to install and revert to stock, providing exceptional stability to confidently handle corners. Despite its size, the tank design maintains full access to the battery and provides sufficient space for luggage or essential items needed for long trips or track events. Each tank includes all necessary fittings and a 1/4 turn drain valve for effortless track-side drainage. The tanks come complete with a premium wire harness, bulkhead fittings, pre-made hoses to connect the tank to the bulkhead, and an optional 20 feet of 3/4″ hose and fittings for a simplified installation process.

The Fill Neck & Turn Cap

• The fill neck and 1/8 turn cap have been specifically designed by Rampage Fabrication for this application, prioritizing ease of use for owners while being sufficiently large to accommodate significant volumes of ice. This distinctive feature enhances the tank’s aesthetic appeal, highlighted by CNC-engraved R8 and Rampage logos.
