SOUL Performance Race Pipes for 991.2 Porsche 911 GT2 RS

The SOUL Race Pipes for Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS unleash the full fury of the platform, delivering a motorsports-inspired roar from the engine and a bold presence from the turbos through increased exhaust flow. Larger 76mm OD valves and a larger outlet pipe than the factory hardware boost flow and prioritize sound at the tip when open. Each set is roughly 6.9 lbs lighter than the factory hardware it replaces (11.4lbs vs 18.3lbs), CAD designed and hand built in-house at SOUL’s Willow Grove, Pennsylvania facility, and backed by SOUL’s lifetime warranty.

Development

Porsche fit the GT2 RS with an incredible 3.8L powerplant and two large turbos. The Race Pipes for Porsche 991.2 GT2 RS unleash an incredible exhaust note and intimidating turbo spool befitting of a 700 horsepower masterpiece through CAD designed, hand-finished pipes that optimize exhaust flow. Larger valves than factory (76mm OD vs 67mm OD) and a larger outlet pipe allow for an increase in exhaust flow, with priority flow increased to the tip outlet for more power and sound when the valves are open.

Sound

When the factory valves open, expect a roar from the engine and a very pronounced note from the turbos; with valves closed, the factory muffler keeps volume and exhaust note to a reserved level. For full, unadulterated turbo sound without the ECU automatically controlling valve function, SOUL recommends disconnecting the valves, installing a manual valve controller, or upgrading the factory muffler.

Construction

Each set is made in-house by SOUL’s fabrication team from mandrel bent .065 inch wall, 2.5 inch diameter T304L stainless steel tubing, premium valves, laser cut brackets, and hand-made outlet pipes. All welds are back purged for increased longevity under the most extreme conditions. Each set is built and tested in a thick-gauge aluminum fixture (which prevents warping) for a guaranteed perfect fit, then foam packed to arrive in perfect condition.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
