Design and Performance

Sound Architect® Remote Valve Control by QuickSilver The new QS Sound Architect® remote valve control system gives you full command of the sound. Our push-button fob can be mounted within the vehicle or used outside the vehicle if desired. Its binary functionality offers two distinct sounds to suit your environment. Our default ‘Sport’ mode offers the full experience with a deeper robust note and utilises the optimum flow of the exiting exhaust gases. With our ‘Refined’ mode, our exhaust harnesses the tone, offering a more civilised note when, and if it’s required. Even better is that like our exhausts, this is a simple install. Just feed the valve cables through the spare wheel well to the rear section, plug the power cable into the 12v in the boot, and you’re away! This style of valve control’s been requested a lot in the past, and we’re excited to finally offer this – the perfect sound is now just a button press away. Appropriate sound – In Sept 2018 the new WLTP (World harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure) was imposed as a result of the VW emissions cheating scandal. The WLTP rules compel all vehicle manufacturers to ensure that their vehicles comply rigidly with worldwide harmonised noise regulations. The practical result is that vehicles manufactured after this date are significantly quieter. And… the simultaneous imposition of particulate filters makes them quieter still. For many citizens this is desirable, but for enthusiast drivers the sound is an important element of the experience and almost no one wants a silent Sports Vehicle (even electric vehicles are being saddled with artificial soundtracks). The QuickSilver ‘Sound Architect exhaust for the Yaris GR should please all enthusiasts with it’s bass-heavy presence and rising note under acceleration – with nice turbo wheezes, even Tommi Mäkinen would be satisfied.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
