Hand-built in England since 1979 from aerospace-grade T304 stainless steel, every system carries the coachbuilt expertise that has made QuickSilver an original-equipment partner to marques including Aston Martin. The result is a sharper, more engaging note and a genuine reduction in mass. It is precisely the sort of considered, quietly exclusive upgrade a vehicle of this stature deserves.

Design and Performance

As a partner of Aston Martin Racing in the GT4 Challenge Great Britain, QuickSilver have been able to draw on their experience to design and develop a set of Manifolds and Race-Sport Cats for road-going AM V8s that offer a serious improvement on the original components. The OEM exhaust manifolds fitted to both the 4.3 and 4.7 V8 Vantage are horribly restrictive at medium and higher rpm, due to being made-to-a-price and the inevitable resistance imposed further upstream by the OEM Sport Cats. The handmade QuickSilver exhaust package recovers the performance lost by by the compromised OEM parts, delivering an improvement of approx. 40BHP (see the performance data below), and an engine which pulls with more strength all the way to the redline. QuickSilver have achieved this performance gain by paying meticulous attention to design and manufacturing detail. The durability has been further proven under road mileage accumulation tests, in a variety of conditions, to ensure that durability matches the original parts.And, toughest of all, successfully tested on the race track during the Britcar 24 Hours at Silverstone in October 2011 on the Vantage Racing GT4.Not only does this package enable flywheel performance, it also reduces weight by 18kilos.These are manufactured by Quicksilver in the UK and available through QuickSilver Dealers.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates.
