The PRL Motorsports P700 Drop-In Turbocharger Upgrade stands out as the most efficient and powerful drop-in turbocharger available for Honda / Acura 2.0L Turbo platforms, capable of delivering over 600 horsepower for Honda’s 2.0L Turbo K20C Engines without compromising on spool time. It incorporates a lightweight, durable billet 304 stainless steel, dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA, maintaining factory oil and coolant lines, as well as the original bypass valve and wastegate actuator. The CHRA’s enlarged water jacket significantly enhances cooling capacity.

This upgrade features a High Efficiency compressor wheel, notably taller than most billet compressor wheel upgrades, and incorporates advanced aerodynamic technologies (including a tapered tip exducer and a cutback design on the blade’s top edge) for superior spool and power. Its larger compressor wheel diameter, compared to the P600 turbocharger, significantly reduces shaft speeds. The High Efficiency Turbine Wheel also employs cutting-edge aerodynamics for optimum spool and power, complemented by a larger wastegate actuator bore to reduce backpressure.

Unique to the P700 is an integrated oxygen sensor bung in the turbine housing, specifically designed for 2.0T Accord, TLX, and RDX models. This means customers do not need to buy a separate FK8 Civic Type-R-style downpipe for installation, a requirement with other drop-in turbocharger upgrades on the market.

Notes

• Movement of the primary oxygen sensor (between the exhaust housing and the downpipe) changes the report of the sensor to the ECU due to exhaust pressure differences, It is critical important to retain factory location for engine performance and safety
• For installation, please make sure (both) supplied copper crush washers are installed correctly (one on top and one on bottom of banjo fitting, sandwiched by banjo bolt)
• Factory banjo bolt torque spec is 35 nm or 25.86 ft/lbs
• Requires ECU calibration (base map for FK8 Civic Type R available in Hondata software)
• No aftermarket downpipe required for installation
• Accord, TLX & RDX require the following – Turbocharger Water Pipe A, FK8 Civic Type R Electronic Wastegate Actuator Arm, Factory FK8 Civic Type R Turbocharger Mounting Bracket
• Fits all variant models including RHD, 10AT, 6MT, international models, etc.
