The PRL Motorsports front pipe upgrade is designed to enhance airflow and is ideal for those who want to maximize the performance of their 2017+ Honda Civic Type-R. This front pipe, positioned immediately after the emissions control system in the exhaust pathway, features 16 gauge mandrel bent 3″ tubing, CNC machined flanges, and a high-quality, reinforced flex-section. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, all components are fully back-purged on-site to endure high exhaust gas temperatures. The kit includes all necessary gaskets, stainless hardware, and components for a straightforward installation. It is important to note that exhaust components damaged due to coating, heat wrapping, or any form of insulation are not covered under PRL Motorsport’s Manufacturer Warranty. Insulating these components can accelerate material degradation due to trapped heat, leading to faster wear than usual.
