By removing unnecessary stock components, the shifter is 30% lighter, enhancing both feel and responsiveness. CNC machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and equipped with stainless steel hardware and precision ball bearings, it ensures unmatched accuracy. There’s truly nothing else like it.

OEM Fitment

• Numeric Racing’s shifter offers a straightforward, bolt-on installation with no fabrication or modifications required. Simply remove the stock shift lever, tunnel tube, and forward rod, then attach the shifter using basic tools and red Loctite—though a lift is recommended for ease. In the cabin, the shifter’s position remains identical to the stock shifter in the longer throw setting, while the shorter throw setting sits just 1/2″ taller. Fully compatible with both the Golden Rod and the stock shift rod, this shifter ensures a seamless, plug-and-play upgrade.

Patented Adjustable Throw

• Numeric Racing’s shifter offers a throw reduction of up to 40%, equivalent to a 1.1 reduction per gear, delivering short and precise throws that eliminate the long and sloppy feel of the stock setup. For added versatility, a longer throw option with a 33% reduction is also available, allowing users to adjust based on their preference. With a patented design enabling multiple hole positions for throw adjustment, Numeric Racing confidently delivers a unique solution unmatched in the market.

Ball Bearings on Every Moving Axis

• Numeric Racing eliminates all bushings and clips from the stock shifter, replacing them with metal-to-metal pivot points supported by ball bearings. This design removes play and ensures precise, consistent shifts. Unlike the stock setup and most aftermarket options, which rely on a forward rod as a pivot point, Numeric Racing completely eliminates this component. The forward rod’s reliance on a bushing and its limitations on throw adjustments—due to interference with the heat shield when lowered—are no longer an issue. By removing the forward rod, Numeric Racing achieves short, crisp throws with reductions of 40% and 33%, setting a new standard for performance.

Shift Boot Delete

• Numeric Racing has partnered with Swine Eleven to offer the 964 / 993 shift boot trim panel, known as the Swine Eleven Re-Boot. This solution is ideal for Porsche 964 and 993 owners looking to upgrade their shift knob by removing the factory-integrated boot, making it perfect for those aiming to achieve a “Singer Style” shift boot. Customers can order the tailored version directly through Numeric Racing’s website. For those who already have a Swine Eleven Re-Boot installed, minor, non-visible modifications may be required to ensure compatibility with Numeric Racing’s shifter. Contact us for assistance.
