Forged construction gives the NF9 a higher strength-to-weight ratio than a cast wheel of the same size; on the SF90, less rotating and unsprung mass means the steering picks up inputs more directly, the suspension tracks surface changes more cleanly, and the car holds its line at speed without the inertia a heavier wheel introduces.
