Nitron Front Adjustable Top Plates for CP9A Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI

Lower an Evo VI on coilovers and the front alignment changes with it, yet the factory mounts offer no way to bring camber and caster back where you want them. The Nitron Mitsubishi Evo VI Top Plates solve that by putting adjustment at the top of the front strut. Camber lets you tilt the tire to match how hard the car is loaded in corners, and caster changes how heavy the steering feels and how readily it returns to center. The pair is made for the front axle and is designed to be used with Nitron coilovers, which makes the Evo VI Top Plates a natural companion to a coilover kit on a CP9A.

Rubber-Free Construction

You won’t find any rubber in the plate. The strut stays locked in the position it was set, even when the front tires are working hard under braking and cornering, so the alignment from your shop is the alignment the car runs. In return you get a bit more noise and a more direct feel of the road coming through the mount, which suits a car that is driven the way an Evo is.

Machined for Nitron Coilovers

Each plate is cut from aluminum and anodized titanium grey, and its shape follows the Nitron damper mount. Dampers from other manufacturers may need to be modified before they fit correctly, so the plates are intended for Nitron coilovers.

Bespoke Engineering

These plates are made specifically for the front of the CP9A Evo VI, and they take the place of a mount that was never designed to be adjusted. You get camber and caster control in one machined part, without compromising the strut position that the plate holds once it is set. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
