The Nitron Suspension Challenger elec-TRON R1 coilover kit takes the adjustable top mounts, race springs, and internal reservoir design of the NTR-R1 and adds a proportional solenoid valve at each corner, adjusting damping every 5 milliseconds in response to braking, cornering, and acceleration forces without any input from the driver. Narrow body SRT8 and R/T owners get real-time damping control instead of a single fixed valving that has to compromise between a quiet street ride and confident handling at speed. Running the system requires the separately sold Nitron elec-TRON DSC Sport V1 Controller, which reads brake pressure, g-force, acceleration, steering input, and vehicle speed simultaneously and uses individual shock calibration tables to set the correct damping level in real time. The LC and LA chassis and its double wishbone front and five-link rear can support a lot more precision than the factory setup ever asks of it, and this kit is built specifically around that geometry rather than adapted from something in the same ballpark. Every kit includes adjustable top mounts and race springs, and it’s custom built and fully serviceable.

Each shock in Nitron’s Challenger elec-TRON R1 coilover kit carries its own proprietary proportional solenoid valve, giving the system precise, independent damping control at every corner simultaneously. It reads g-load, vehicle speed, road surface, and driver input all at once, making damping corrections every 5 milliseconds. A blink of the human eye takes somewhere between 100 and 150 milliseconds, so the suspension isn’t estimating what the road is doing, it’s responding to it in real time, corner by corner.

Standalone Electronic Damping System

The Nitron elec-TRON DSC Sport V1 Controller is a required component for this kit and is sold separately. It processes brake pressure, g-force, acceleration, steering input, and vehicle speed simultaneously, using full individual shock calibration tables to determine the correct damping level at any given moment. The result is a suspension platform an SRT8 or R/T owner can tune with the same precision they’d apply to an engine, dialing in more mechanical grip for a track day or backing off for a long highway drive.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
