Nitron’s 512 TR elec-TRON R1 coilover kit brings electronic damping control to the F110 chassis that Ferrari had already sharpened over the standard Testarossa, with a wider rear track, a lower ride height, and suspension geometry retuned specifically for this updated car. Nitron’s proportional solenoid valve, fitted to each shock, hands damping control over to the included Nitron DCU, which reads what the car is doing at every corner and adjusts compression and rebound in real time rather than sitting on a fixed valve position. Because the 512 TR never came with a factory electronic damping system, this Nitron kit runs in Standalone configuration, with the DCU included as part of the package rather than sold separately. The hardware behind the Nitron elec-TRON R1 traces back to Nitron’s R3 race platform, covering a broad adjustment range without asking the driver to set anything manually to get the most out of it. Ferrari never built the 512 TR with a factory electronic damping system to interface with, so this Nitron kit runs Standalone Electronic Damping from the moment it’s installed, replacing the factory dampers and their control logic outright.

The Nitron DCU included with this kit reads braking force, cornering load, acceleration, and overall vehicle attitude roughly every 5 milliseconds, repositioning each elec-TRON valve based on what the car is actually doing rather than holding one setting for the whole drive. A control knob on the Nitron DCU gives the driver access to four pre-installed maps, Rain, Tour, Sport, and Race, so the overall character is still something the driver picks, even while the fine adjustment underneath keeps happening automatically.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse.
