• Installation:
  • IP Rating:
    • This product is rated IP67 and should be installed in a sheltered area, where it is only exposed to occasional water splashes and where dust exposure remains within the typical conditions found in vehicle installations.
  • Operating Temperature Range:
    • This product is designed to operate within an internal temperature range of -20°C to 70°C.
• Vibration Statement:
  • This product is built to endure the vibrations commonly encountered in standard vehicle installations. The product should not be subjected to prolonged or intense vibrations. For instance, it should not be mounted in direct contact with vibrating parts, such as engines, or rigidly attached to undamped vehicle structures.
• Safety:
  • For safe operation, ensure the device is only used when undamaged.
  • When connecting, apply minimal force to insert connectors.
  • These devices can produce voltages that may pose a risk to human safety. Appropriate precautions are essential:

ECU Wiring

• The display logger must be connected to the CAN bus for compatibility with any modern MoTeC ECU and various other CAN devices (refer to images).
• For older MoTeC ECUs, such as the M4, M48, or M8 models, the display logger should be connected using RS232. In certain cases, a PCI cable may also be necessary for connection.

Notes

• Minor trimming required for pre-2017 models
• To clean screen wipe using a clean water dampened microfiber cloth, followed by a clean dry microfiber cloth
• This product should be installed in a location with adequate air circulation and protected from heat emissions from nearby components
