Moshammer GTS Front Spoiler Evo for 991.2 Porsche 911 Carrera

Moshammer GTS Front Spoiler Evo exists because the 991.2 GTS and Aerokit bumper is a different shape, and a lip drawn for the standard car will simply not sit on it. Moshammer developed this Evo profile to adapt to that factory bumper precisely, adding the side wings that extend the visual width of the nose while keeping the OEM+ discipline the Berlin workshop is known for. The optimal aerodynamic properties come from the shape rather than from bulk, so the car looks tauter at the front without looking modified. It is delivered unpainted with mounting material and a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), and installs using the original screw points together with glue. Made to order for GTS owners chasing the last five percent of resolution.

Bumper Specific Design

A GTS or Aerokit 991.2 already carries a more aggressive bumper than the standard Carrera, which makes a matching lip harder to draw and easier to get wrong. Moshammer’s Evo profile adapts to that factory bumper and adds an element of visual appeal without competing with the shapes already there. The side wings do the heavy lifting, pulling the eye outward so the nose reads wider and lower.

Aerodynamic Function

Moshammer describes the part as providing optimal aerodynamic properties while remaining a beautiful OEM+ design element, and the two are not in tension here. The lip manages air at the leading edge of the car rather than merely dropping below it, which is what you want on a Carrera that is used properly. The visual result is a side effect of the aerodynamic intent, not the other way around.

Fitting and Finish

The spoiler installs using the original screw points and with glue, and the mounting material is supplied with the part. Because it arrives unpainted, plan the paint work and installation together so the car goes in once and comes out finished. The TUV parts certificate (§19.3) accompanies the spoiler for owners who keep German documentation on file.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I tell if my 991.2 has the GTS or Aerokit bumper? The GTS and Aerokit bumper has a more pronounced lower section and different intake shapes than the standard Carrera bumper. If you are not certain, contact us with a straight on photo of the nose before ordering.
Will this fit a standard 991.2 Carrera S? No. Moshammer builds a separate spoiler for the non GTS and non Aerokit bumper. This part is only for the GTS and Aerokit front bumper.
How is it attached? It installs using the original screw points and with glue, and the mounting material is included. That combination gives a tight, gap free line along the bumper edge.
Does it arrive painted? No, article P991.42.1022 is delivered unpainted with the mounting material. Most owners have it finished in body colour or satin black by their own painter.
Is there German certification? Yes, the spoiler comes with a TUV parts certificate (§19.3), the parts documentation German authorities expect for an exterior aerodynamic component.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
