The MMX Performance PCM Tuning Box for G8x BMW M2 / M3 / M4 vehicles allows drivers to achieve a dramatic performance upgrade without permanent modifications. This plug‑and‑play module connects inline with the factory ECU and delivers power gains of up to +100 hp and +100 Nm on the G87 M2 and G8x M3 / M4, and up to +110 hp and +100 Nm on the more extreme CS / CSL variants. Crafted in the UK with a billet‑aluminum housing, bespoke wiring loom and carbon fiber mount, the unit integrates seamlessly while remaining removable and undetectable — providing enhanced power and torque across the rev range without compromising daily drivability.

What Does PCM Do?

• The MMX PCM (power control module) operates using proprietary in-house calibration on a dedicated standalone PCB that communicates in parallel with the factory ECU. This setup allows the PCM to safely optimize various electronic signals in real time, acting as an intelligent intermediary between the engine’s sensors and control systems. With control over multiple channels — such as boost pressure, ignition timing, and fueling — the PCM delivers increased power and torque across the full powerband. Development involved tens of thousands of miles of rigorous testing on the dyno, road, and track, across a range of vehicles and hardware configurations to ensure ideal performance, drivability, and safety.

PCM vs ECU Calibration

• MMX Performance is clear about the fact that PCM calibration isn’t as comprehensive as a full ECU remap. To preserve factory-like smoothness, reliability, and safety, PCM power levels are purposefully kept below what traditional ECU tuning can achieve. That said, the gains in performance, responsiveness, and efficiency are substantial—and immediately noticeable on the road.

Cooled by Fins

• The PCM unit is housed in a precision-machined billet aluminum case, complete with integrated cooling fins, and comes with a carbon fiber mounting bracket for secure, high-quality installation in the engine bay.
