BMW F80 M3 power module from MMX Performance is a precision-engineered Power Control Module (PCM) for the S55-powered F87 M2 Competition and M2 CS, F80 M3 and M3 Competition and CS, and F82/F83 M4 and M4 Competition and CS — operating in parallel with the factory ECU via MMX’s proprietary calibration on a dedicated standalone PCB. The BMW F80 M3 power module is far beyond a typical tuning box: by safely optimizing key electronic sensor signals in real time and interfacing directly between the engine’s control systems and its sensors, the PCM functions more like a secondary ECU, delivering significant increases in power and torque throughout the rev range without touching the factory ECU mapping. Over 12 months of intensive development including tens of thousands of miles of dyno, road, and track testing across multiple vehicles and hardware setups went into calibrating the PCM to strike the ideal balance between performance, drivability, and reliability. Power gains range from +50hp on the M2 CS to +89hp on the M2 Competition, and +60hp to +79hp across M3 and M4 variants depending on specification, with torque gains of up to +110Nm. Each kit includes a vehicle-specific plug-and-play wiring loom for seamless integration; the PCM itself is housed in a CNC-machined billet aluminum enclosure with integrated cooling fins and comes with a carbon fiber mounting bracket for a clean, secure engine bay installation. Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
