AWE analyzed the factory exhaust valve across driving modes and found overall volume is mostly consistent, with the valve closed only in Comfort mode until a throttle threshold is reached. Stock routing sends exhaust through the side mufflers when the valve is closed to reduce cabin noise and drone, and through the center section when open. Because useful independent valve control is limited on this platform, AWE built the Track Edition as a clean, non-valved, straight-through design with no valve hardware or simulators required.
