Should you desire a significant increase in power without compromising reliability or spool time for your 10th Gen FK8 Civic Type R (or other compatible 2.0T vehicles), then this turbocharger is precisely what you need. The MHI Stage 2 Turbocharger Upgrade for Honda 2.0T engines, capable of supporting up to 500+ HP, is a direct bolt-on upgrade from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) – Honda’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for turbochargers.
500+ Horsepower in a True Bolt-On Package
This is a stage 2 turbo modification, equipped with entirely new turbine and compressor wheels. It includes a TD05-21HR3 compressor wheel, which is a +7mm larger 5+5 billet size, clocking at 65mm, and a TD04-HLL1 Inconel turbine, higher by 5mm at 52mm size. The upgrade can cause a power surge of around +33%, possibly increasing to 400hp, and it even has a potential of going up to 500+hp when racing fuel or ethanol is used. It’s always critical to have power boosts brought on seamlessly – which thankfully is the case with this turbo upgrade, owing to the reliable MHI, the manufacturer trusted by Honda for all of their original turbochargers. This is in line with the standard turbo design as it maintains the same mounting points and footprint.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance.
