Mine’s Titan Intake System for R35 Nissan GT-R

With the ongoing enhancements to the GTR’s engines and turbines leading to higher power outputs, managing air intake becomes increasingly challenging. Precise settings are critical, as they affect sensor readings. This requires careful consideration in selecting air filters, piping layout, and volume.

The titanium intake system includes air filters developed by BMC, known for their use in F1 and Le Mans race cars. These filters, efficiently sized at 1.4 times the original design, are intended to fit inside the front bumper, drawing in fresh air. They can be installed without removing the front bumper and their efficiency is further boosted by the included guiding blades. The system opts for lightweight titanium and enlarges the piping diameter from 70mm to 80mm. Consequently, the capacity of the stock air flow meters’ measurement signal increases, making this system essential for high-power setups with advanced turbines and large injectors.
