• By launching the new KW V5 coilover suspension, KW focuses on its successful motorsport suspension technology with KW Solid Piston Technology and a modular design with damper valves connected in series. The KW V5 ensures precise and fast damping without delay, making it ideal for sports cars and super sports cars. The shock absorbers and valves react directly, even with small spring travel, minimal steering movements, and minor road undulations. Every driving maneuver and input, such as those generated during braking, acceleration, steering, load changes, and undulations, are damped with much more precision. The KW Solid Piston dampers provide significantly more platform support to the chassis than conventional dampers, allowing for lower spring rates depending on the vehicle’s body.

  • KW coilover suspensions, height-adjustable springs, and KW DLC Air Suspensions allow for suspension lowering within technical limitations. For example, Street Comfort products offer mild lowering from 10 to 50mm, while Street Performance products provide the maximum suspension lowering range of 45 to 85mm, depending on the vehicle.

  • The rebound stage damping is precisely tuned to the respective vehicle at KW’s in-house drive dynamics test facility, delivered in the middle of the range out of the box. Customization is available with 16 precise clicks, offering the choice between more comfort or better body control.
