The Lamborghini Huracan Evo stands as the pinnacle of Italian automotive innovation. Reflecting its namesake, meaning “hurricane” in Spanish, this remarkable machine boasts a 5.2L V10 engine that generates an astonishing 631 horsepower, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds. With its sleek lines and aggressive stance, the exterior design perfectly embodies the classic Lamborghini essence of power and elegance. Kline took on the challenge of designing and crafting the ultimate Huracan Evo exhaust system, sculpted from the finest ultra-lightweight Inconel 625, with a focus on unmatched sound performance and weight reduction.

The Sound

• Recognizing that the factory Huracan exhaust lacked the special character to match the raw nature of this supercar, Kline set out to create an exhaust that would truly scream at high revs while maintaining near-stock quietness during cruising speeds.
• During valve closure, the exhaust gases are skillfully directed through a series of chambers and acoustic sections, effectively eliminating any unwanted drone. When the valves open, the exhaust achieves unrestricted flow, optimizing performance and sound. It passes exclusively through our distinctive tight radius x pipe, elevating the pitch of the exhaust note. The result is an incendiary exhaust note on valve open, with the x pipe enhancing the sound into a raucous aggressive vocal, often described by their customers as a “demon screaming” sound.

Performance

• By removing restrictions from the silencer section and incorporating a fully unrestricted flow system during valve open, the Kline exhaust for the Lamborghini Huracan Evo achieves optimal efficiency, resulting in noticeable power and torque gains.
• 23hp and 29 nm power and torque gain.

Stainless Steel

• In the domain of exhaust manufacturing, the industry has long relied on the established standard of 304-grade stainless steel. This grade offers a well-balanced combination of moderate strength, thermochemical stability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of production. It allows for the construction of exhaust systems that strike a practical balance between affordability, functionality, and long-lasting durability. However, it is important to note that stainless steel, while similar in density to regular steel, is relatively heavier compared to alternative materials. Additionally, it possesses slightly lower tensile strength, which imposes limitations when aiming to create high-performance exhaust components capable of producing vibrant and captivating exhaust notes.

Inconel

• When prioritizing durability and heat resistance, Inconel 625 emerges as the ultimate choice, widely employed in the aerospace industry. This exceptional material finds extensive application in the manufacturing of critical components, particularly exhaust turbine blades for high-performance jet engines. Inconel is highly favored in Formula One exhaust systems and has been selected by manufacturers involved in prestigious hypercar projects such as the McLaren P1 and Aston Martin 177. The advantages of Inconel lie in its high tensile strength and excellent thermochemical stability. Comparable to titanium in terms of tensile strength, Inconel achieves an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, enabling the utilization of thin sidewall materials while maintaining structural integrity. This facilitates the production of lightweight components that exhibit exceptional resistance to fatigue over extended periods. However, working with Inconel presents challenges due to its difficult machinability and specific welding requirements, demanding specialized skills and time-consuming techniques. Additionally, the unique properties and specialized manufacturing processes associated with Inconel contribute to its higher cost as a raw material.
