Karbonius Composites Carbon Hood for E30 BMW 3-Series

Karbonius Composites manufactures all components in Spain from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave-cured by experienced technicians under an ISO 9001 quality management system delivering one of the highest-quality options on the market. This hood is a streamlined reinterpretation of the original: the exterior remains true to OEM, while the inner structure is simplified into a broad, harmonious surface to enhance strength and aesthetics over the factory piece. Built as two shells (outer and inner) bonded on an assembly bench with structural adhesive, it forms a robust structural part; nutserts are fixed to the laminate using structural adhesive. The finish employs multiple layers of UV-protective polyurethane varnish for a durable, long-lasting gloss. Committed to total customer satisfaction, Karbonius specifies premium materials throughout production, including fibers from Hexcel or SGL, Sika adhesives, and Glasurit varnishes.
