The JCR Titanium Superlight Race Exhaust System & Link Pipe Assembly for the 982 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, Spyder, Cayman GT4, and GTS 4.0 offers an advanced performance upgrade with the option for either Silenced or Non-Silenced Superlight Exhaust Systems and Inconel Silenced Link Pipes or Titanium Non-Silenced Link Pipes. Designed to reduce weight while enhancing both power and sound, this assembly is crafted from high-quality titanium and Inconel for maximum strength, durability, and heat resistance. The Silenced version provides a refined exhaust tone while maintaining emissions compliance, perfect for street and track use, while the Non-Silenced version delivers a more aggressive race-inspired sound, improving exhaust flow and throttle response. This assembly is a direct replacement for the factory system, offering easy installation and significant improvements in vehicle performance and exhaust note.

Direct Replacement / Modular Fitment

The JCR Titanium Superlight Race Exhaust System is a complete direct replacement for the OEM 718 GT4 and Spyder rear silencer and link pipe assembly. No fabrication is required—simply remove the factory rear silencer and OPF pipes and replace them with the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust System. Available with two tip options, the Superlight Race Exhaust System uses V-band clamps for easy and quick swaps. Supplied as standard with JCR’s Titanium Megaphone tips for the lightest configuration, the system can also be configured with optional Inconel Rolled Tips. The V-band clamped tips ensure perfect alignment and enable quick changes to optional Titanium Silenced Tips at the track, reducing sound levels by an additional 6-7dB.

Heat Management

Each of the JCR Superlight Race Exhaust System options comes with the highest quality thermal protection as standard. The heat shielding selected for these systems is used in top-level motorsport to control temperatures and significantly reduce radiant heat effects on surrounding areas. Extensive testing was conducted on track, both with and without thermal protection, showing a consistent reduction of 15-20°C in inner rear tire temperatures. This temperature reduction provides a real-world performance advantage over link pipes without thermal protection.

Light Weight

Thanks to the construction and material choices, JCR was able to meet all performance goals while reducing the weight of the OEM rear silencer and link pipes by over 70%. This modification saves over 26kg of mass from the rear of the car in its lightest configuration, making it a true win-win.

Performance Increase

Every component of the JCR Titanium Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve horsepower and torque, with varying results depending on the specific combination of parts.

Silenced Superlight Race Rear Silencer

This version of the Superlight Race Exhaust System features HJS 200-cell race cats in the link pipe section, positioned in place of the factory particulate filters. This design maximizes power and torque while retaining catalytic converters in the exhaust system. This version is intended for use with JCR’s Inconel Race Manifolds or other non-catted manifold designs.

Silenced

This version of the Superlight Race Exhaust System features two bespoke titanium re-packable silencers in the rear section to reduce the decibel level by 6-7dB compared to the non-silenced version. However, this system is not for the faint of heart.

Non-Silenced

This version of the Superlight Race Exhaust System is a completely non-silenced and non-valved system, designed for those seeking a true race-inspired sound. It is not for the faint of heart.

RSR Style Sound

The sound signature of the JCR Titanium Superlight Race Exhaust System has been engineered to replicate the renowned sound of the 991.2 GT3 RSR. The result is a rich, exotic high-quality tone, replacing the flat, dull exhaust note with a beautiful flat-six sound and more substantial volume when desired. By utilizing the same merge design as JCR’s other Race Exhaust System products, this system brings the 4.0L flat-six in the 718 GT4 & Spyder to life, delivering the sound that owners have longed for. This system deletes the factory valve control. While low-end drone is to be expected as part of achieving significant weight savings and incredible sound, for a more daily-driver-friendly option, JCR recommends one of the Titanium Valved Race Exhaust System options.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest.
