The JCR Link Pipes for the 982 Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, Spyder, Cayman GT4, and GTS 4.0 are available in two options — Inconel Silenced and Titanium Non-Silenced, each designed to enhance both performance and sound. The Inconel Silenced Link Pipes are made from high-performance Inconel 625 and feature integrated silencers that reduce exhaust noise at lower speeds while delivering a more aggressive tone when the valves are open. These link pipes ensure emissions compliance, prevent check engine lights, and reduce vehicle weight, offering a seamless fit and easy installation. On the other hand, the Titanium Non-Silenced Link Pipes are crafted from high-performance titanium and replace the factory OPF system, unlocking the full potential of the 4.0L flat-six engine. These pipes improve exhaust flow, enhance throttle response, and provide a race-inspired exhaust note while significantly reducing weight. Ideal for track enthusiasts, the non-silenced version delivers a more aggressive sound and improves performance, though it may affect emissions compliance and may not be street legal in all regions. Both options provide an upgrade in power delivery, engine sound, and overall driving experience.

Direct Replacement / Modular Fitment

• The JCR Link Pipes are a complete direct replacement for the OEM 718 GT4 and Spyder OPF pipes. No fabrication or additional parts are needed — simply remove the factory OPF pipes and install the JCR Link Pipes. These link pipes come with all necessary hardware to ensure an easy and hassle-free installation.

Heat Management

• Each JCR Link Pipe option comes with the highest quality thermal protection as standard. The selected heat shielding is used at the highest levels of motorsport to control temperatures and significantly reduce the effects of radiant heat on surrounding components. Extensive testing was performed on track with each option, both with and without thermal protection, and consistently showed a 15-20°C reduction in rear tire temperatures during track use. This reduction offers a real-world performance advantage over an OPF delete without a thermal barrier.

Silenced Link Pipes

• The JCR Inconel Silenced Link Pipes provide all the benefits of the standard Non-Silenced Titanium Link Pipes, but with a reduction in overall dB levels and the added benefit of a 200-cell HJS Race Cat. This allows for horsepower and torque gains while keeping the exhaust volume only slightly above the factory OPF pipes and ensuring the car remains emissions-compliant. These link pipes are an excellent choice for track cars with strict noise limits and street cars that require functional cats in the exhaust system.

Light Weight

• Crafted entirely from 100% Inconel or 100% titanium, these Link Pipes significantly reduce weight compared to the factory exhaust setup, making this a true win-win modification.

Power Increase

• Every component in the JCR exhaust line is guaranteed to increase horsepower and torque, with results varying depending on the combination of parts. The most extreme free-flowing system installed on the 718 GT4, Spyder, or GTS 4.0 can deliver gains of up to +52.40whp and +47.00wtq (60.26hp/54.05tq), along with substantial improvements in engine response and mid-range torque. Deleting the restrictive factory cats not only creates a more aggressive, race-inspired sound but also improves exhaust flow, resulting in increased horsepower and torque.
