JCR Inconel Race Silencers for 991.2 Porsche Carrera, GTS, S, and T (with PSE / non-OPF)

JCR’s Inconel Race Silencers for the 991.2 Carrera, Carrera S, GTS, and T (PSE-equipped, non-OPF) are direct-replacement assemblies engineered from 100% Inconel 625 to cut weight, reduce backpressure, and sharpen throttle response, offered in two variants — Standard or with Integrated Inconel Heat Shielding for motorsport-grade thermal control. Each unit maintains OEM fitment while replacing the restrictive factory sections with high-flow HJS 200-cell cores to increase flow, enrich tone, and deliver documented gains of roughly 20-25hp and 30-35lb-ft; expect weight savings of about 1.4-1.7kg versus stock depending on configuration, with the heat-shielded option further limiting radiant heat into surrounding components.

Light Weight

JCR reduces the overall weight of the factory 991.2 Carrera exhaust system through the use of lightweight materials and thoughtful engineering. Weight reduction benefits any performance vehicle, and the effect is particularly pronounced on this platform, where trimming mass behind the rear axle improves weight distribution, overall balance, and handling.

Direct Replacement

All JCR 991.2 Carrera exhaust components are designed as direct replacements for their OEM counterparts with a guaranteed fit. Installation requires no additional modifications beyond removing the factory part and installing the JCR equivalent with the supplied hardware.

HJS 200-Cell Race Silencers

JCR’s Inconel Race Silencers replace the restrictive factory assembly with a high-flow HJS 200-cell silencer for each turbocharger, significantly increasing flow for improved performance. In certain circumstances a check engine light (CEL) may still occur, typically if fuel quality is poor or if excessive load is applied before the engine and exhaust system reach full operating temperature.

Heat Management

This product incorporates motorsport-grade thermal protection as standard. The selected heat shielding is used at the highest levels of competition to control temperatures while protecting surrounding components by dramatically reducing radiant heat.

Power Increase

According to JCR, every component in the JCR Titanium Exhaust line delivers gains in horsepower and torque, with results varying by configuration. The most extreme free-flowing system can achieve mid 30 hp / tq increases on a stock ECU tune, alongside notable improvements in overall engine response, transient throttle behavior, and earlier boost onset in the rev range.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
