The 991 Porsche Turbo, with a fully redesigned exterior, retains the powerful 9A1 engine from the previous 997.2 Turbo, offering 520 horsepower (560 in the “S” version) and setting a new benchmark for sports cars. The 991 IPD Turbo Plenum, similar to the 997.2 version, is designed for the factory 74mm throttle body, as the 991’s smaller intake manifolds enhance boost response and fuel efficiency but limit significant power gains. This design makes a larger throttle body unnecessary, providing optimal airflow within the 991 Turbo’s capabilities.

IPD 74mm Plenum for 991.1 Porsche 911 Turbo & Turbo S [91274]

The remarkable 991 Porsche Turbo received a completely redesigned exterior, while the engine remained virtually unchanged from the previous 997.2 Turbo model. This Turbo is the most powerful, innovative, and capable Porsche Turbo to emerge from Stuttgart. The latest generation 9A1 engine delivers 520 horsepower (560 horsepower in the “S” version), once again setting a new standard in the sports car world. The 991 IPD Turbo Plenum closely resembles the 997.2 Turbo Plenums and is available in a single 74mm version that utilizes the factory 74mm throttle body. The 991 Turbo intake manifolds are smaller than those of the 997.1 Turbo, which improves boost response and fuel efficiency, though it limits the potential for substantial power gains. The 74mm throttle body provides sufficient airflow for these more restrictive intake runners, making a larger 82mm “Competition” version unnecessary.

The already impressive power of the 991 Turbo can be further enhanced with the IPD Intake Plenum. The patented IPD Plenum design is highly effective for all forced induction applications, and the 991 Turbo is no exception. The power and torque gains delivered by the IPD Plenum are substantial, consistently outperforming the factory power curves from launch to redline. Maximum power increases occur in the midrange, where they are most needed and most impactful. The 991 Turbo Plenum provides smooth, linear power with significantly quicker boost response, extending the power band for a more enjoyable driving experience. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less.
