Which engines take the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a 15mm lower O-ring?

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with a 14mm top and 15mm lower O-ring in a set of eight. They fit fuel systems built for a 60mm body with those seals. Compare your current injectors, or send us their part number.

Can I swap the lower O-ring to 14mm myself?

It is better to order the configuration your manifold needs. Injector Dynamics sells the same 60mm body with a 14mm lower O-ring as its own set, and buying the correct version keeps the seal sizes as Injector Dynamics supplies and tests them.

Is this 15mm lower set suitable for flex fuel?

Yes. The ID2600-XDS is rated for gasoline, ethanol and methanol, with corrosion resistant internals intended for long term alcohol service. A flex fuel V8 on these eight injectors needs a calibration covering the full ethanol range, plus a pump system able to supply eight injectors at this flow.

Will these plug into my existing wiring?

Yes, if it uses USCAR plugs. These eight injectors have USCAR connectors, and Injector Dynamics sells plug and play adapters for Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012 and later Honda wiring separately. Check the plug on your current injectors before ordering.

What happens if one of these injectors fails?

Contact us and we will arrange a replacement through Injector Dynamics, which handles single injectors for its flow matched sets. Defects are covered for one year from purchase, provided the correct fuel and proper filtration were used. Injector Dynamics can also clean and flow test the set in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 15mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with purple 14mm top adapters and orange 15mm lower O-rings come as a set of eight, for a V8 or eight-injector fuel system that takes the long body with a 15mm lower seal. Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this exact combination, so measure before ordering. At 2600cc/min nominal each, these are for an engine making very large power on methanol or E85, with a pump system to match. On gasoline at moderate power, a smaller flow class gives an easier idle calibration.

Configuration

The 15 in the part number is the orange 15mm lower O-ring. The 48mm LS2 set uses the same lower seal on a shorter body, so check the length of your current injectors as well.

Features

ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors flow matched as a set of eight
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 15mm O-ring (orange)

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 15mm lower O-rings fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with 14mm top and 15mm lower o-ring.

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring each need a plug-and-play adapter, sold separately, and for Denso plugs that is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Orange 15mm lower O-rings are fitted
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven
Keep injector supply voltage at or above the 11 volt minimum Injector Dynamics specifies

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
