Will the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors fit an LS3?

Not in this configuration. Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm top and lower O-rings for the LS1 and LS6 family. The LS2 uses a 48mm set with a 15mm lower O-ring, and the LS3 is not listed here.

Do these fit a 2011 Mustang GT?

No. Injector Dynamics lists this set for Mustang GT models from 1988 to 2010 and the 1999 to 2004 Cobra, which share the 14mm lower O-ring layout. The 2011 and later Coyote Mustang GT uses the 60mm set with a 14mm bottom adapter, sold separately.

Should an LS1 build pick the 2600 or the ID1750-XDS?

Pick by how much fuel the engine needs. The ID1750-XDS flows 1728cc per minute and is rated to 7 bar; the ID2600-XDS flows 2600cc per minute nominal and is rated to 9 bar. An LS1, LT1 or Mustang V8 only needs the 2600 once alcohol fuel and boost exceed the 1750.

Can lowering fuel pressure avoid a retune on an LS1?

No. Lower pressure reduces flow but leaves the offset and short pulse behaviour of the 2600 unchanged, so the LS1, LT1 or Ford calibration still needs the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Make any pressure change together with your tuner as part of that calibration.

How are the eight injectors matched?

Injector Dynamics flow tests them with Dual Slope Matching across the linear range and the short, non-linear pulse range. On a V8 that keeps both banks even at idle and under load. If an injector fails, a matched replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics under the one year defect warranty.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors make up this set of eight with purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the LS1 and LS6, the LT1, the 1988-2010 Mustang GT and 1999-2004 Cobra, the SVT Lightning and the BMW 540i and 740i. Eight 2600cc/min injectors are for a V8 making very large power on methanol or E85. A cammed LS1 on gasoline is better off with an ID1050-XDS.

Features

Developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels; the highest flow rate of any injector Bosch offers
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
