Do the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm tops fit a Focus RS?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm top and 14mm lower O-ring, set of four, for the Focus RS, as well as the Focus SVT and ZX3. Plan the calibration and fuel pump with your tuner, since this flow class is aimed at very high power on alcohol.

My SR20DET is listed twice; which do I need?

Injector Dynamics lists the SR20DET, the 240SX and the G20 with either an 11mm or a 14mm top, depending on the fuel rail. This set has the 14mm top. Check the top seal on your existing injectors or measure the rail bore before you order.

Is the 2600 too much injector for a Focus or SR20DET?

For most of them, yes. At 2600cc per minute nominal each, four of these are meant for an engine at very high output on methanol or E85. A Focus RS, E30 M3 or SR20DET at moderate boost will be easier to calibrate on an ID1050-XDS or ID1300-XDS.

Do these need a custom calibration on a four cylinder?

Yes. Injector Dynamics supplies characterization data covering flow, voltage offset and the non-linear short pulse range, and the calibration has to use it. A four cylinder idles on very short pulses with an injector this large, so accurate data matters most at idle.

What happens if one of the four fails?

Injector Dynamics replaces single injectors in its flow matched sets, so the four stay balanced. The one year warranty from purchase covers manufacturer defects when the injectors have run the correct fuel with proper filtration. Contact us first and we will arrange the claim.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four have purple 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings, the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the E30 M3, the Focus SVT, ZX3 and RS, the Mustang SVO, the 2013-2014 Genesis 2.0t and the 14mm-top versions of the SR20DET, 240SX, G20 and 3S-GTE Celica All-Trac. That is a wide spread of fours, and this flow class is for the few built to make very large power on E85 or methanol. A street Focus RS or E30 M3 is better served by an ID1050-XDS or ID1300-XDS.

Features

Built to Injector Dynamics specification with Bosch Motorsport, the top-flowing injector in the Bosch range
Internals resist corrosion from long-term exposure to methanol and ethanol
Flows roughly half again as much as the ID1700x
Matched in both the linear and short pulse ranges using Dual Slope Matching

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW E30 M3: 1988-1991
Ford: Focus ZX3, Focus SVT, Focus RS and Mustang SVO
Hyundai Genesis 2.0t: 2013-2014
Infiniti G20: 1991-1996 and 1999-2002 | 14mm top versions
Nissan: 240SX S13 / S14 / S15 and FWD SR20DET | 14mm top versions
Toyota Celica All-Trac: 1989-1999 | 3S-GTE, 14mm top version

Notes

Each injector has a USCAR plug; engines wired for Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda or 2012+ Honda connectors need an Injector Dynamics adapter, and the Denso one is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
A tuner must load the Injector Dynamics characterization data and recalibrate the ECU after installation
Injector Dynamics specifies a minimum supply of 11 volts for the ID2600-XDS

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
