Which engine are the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in a set of three made for?

Injector Dynamics does not list a vehicle for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this three injector configuration. It suits any fuel system that takes a 60mm body, an 11mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring. Compare those dimensions with your current injectors, or send us their part number to check.

How do I know if I need an 11mm or 14mm top?

Measure the fuel rail bore or check the top seal on your current injectors. The 11mm top is the narrower size, used on rails built for it, while a 14mm top takes a larger bore. The two are not interchangeable, so order the size your rail was machined for.

Does this three injector set have a voltage requirement?

Yes. Injector Dynamics specifies a minimum of 11 volts for the ID2600-XDS. On a three injector build with a small race battery or long cranking times, check that the supply to the injectors stays above that figure, and that grounds and feed wiring are sized properly.

Can lower fuel pressure let me skip the tune?

No. Dropping fuel pressure changes flow but not the offset and short pulse behaviour of the 2600, so the calibration still has to be built on the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Any pressure change for these three injectors should be part of that tuning work.

Does filtration matter for the warranty on this trio?

Yes. Injector Dynamics covers the three injectors for one year from purchase against manufacturer defects only when they run the correct fuel through proper filtration. A fine filter ahead of the 11mm top rail protects both the injectors and the cover. Single replacements come through Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 3

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors are supplied here as three matched injectors with a blue 11mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, for fuel systems built around the long body and the narrow top seal. It is ordered by measurement against the injectors already fitted. At 2600cc/min nominal each, the three are meant for an engine burning large volumes of methanol or E85 under boost. A three-injector engine on gasoline at sensible power gains nothing from this class over an ID1750-XDS.

Configuration

The 60 is the body length, 11 the top seal and 14 the lower O-ring. The 11mm top is the smaller of the two top sizes Injector Dynamics offers on the 60mm body, so check your fuel rail bore.

Features

ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors flow matched as a set of three
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 11mm (blue)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm tops and 14mm lower O-rings (x3)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with 11mm top and 14mm lower o-ring.

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring each need a plug-and-play adapter, sold separately, and for Denso plugs that is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven
Keep injector supply voltage at or above the 11 volt minimum Injector Dynamics specifies

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
