Is there a published application for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in a set of twelve?

No. Injector Dynamics does not list a vehicle for the ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors in this twelve injector configuration. It fits fuel systems that take a 60mm body with 14mm top and lower O-rings, whether a V12 or a twin injector setup on a six cylinder engine.

What fuel pump do twelve of these injectors need?

One sized for the total demand, which is very high. Twelve injectors at 2600cc per minute nominal each can draw far more than a single conventional pump supplies, so most builds of this size use several pumps or a brushless system such as the Injector Dynamics FPS1100. Size it with your tuner.

Do twelve of these need ECU changes?

Yes. Twelve injectors at 2600cc per minute nominal deliver far more fuel per millisecond than any factory setup, so the existing calibration cannot be used. Your tuner enters the Injector Dynamics characterization data, including offsets and short pulse behaviour, and then builds the fuel tables for all twelve.

Is there an electrical requirement for these injectors?

Yes. Injector Dynamics states that the 2600 needs at least 11 volts to operate correctly. Check battery condition, grounds and injector feed wiring before relying on the set for full power, especially on race cars with small batteries and on engines that crank for a long time before starting.

Can a twelve injector set be serviced later?

Yes. Injector Dynamics offers a cleaning, inspection and flow test service in Arizona, which is the practical way to check twelve matched injectors after long use. The set also carries a one year warranty from purchase against manufacturer defects, conditional on correct fuel and proper filtration.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 12

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors are packed twelve to a set here, each with a purple 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, for a V12 or any fuel system that runs twelve injectors of that layout. Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle for this twelve-injector set, so it is chosen by body length and seal sizes. Twelve injectors at 2600cc/min nominal each is a fuel supply for very large power on methanol or E85, and the pump, lines and regulator must be built to match. Below that level a smaller flow class is the more practical choice.

Configuration

With twelve injectors on one engine, cylinder-to-cylinder balance at idle depends on matching, and Injector Dynamics matches the 2600 with Dual Slope Matching through the short pulse range.

Features

ID2600-XDS 60mm Fuel Injectors flow matched as a set of twelve
Rated to 9 bar differential fuel pressure
Corrosion-resistant construction for alcohol fuels over the long term
Set matched with Dual Slope Matching, so balance holds down into the non-linear range

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 60mm
Top: 14mm adapter (purple)
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x12)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 60mm injector with 14mm top and 14mm lower o-ring.

Notes

The connector is USCAR; plug-and-play adapters for Denso, EV1 and Honda wiring are separate parts, with the Denso version listed as the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data
The ID2600-XDS needs at least 11 volts to operate

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
