Will this set fit an SRT-8 Challenger or 300C?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the SRT-8 300C, Challenger and Magnum with a 14mm bottom adapter, which is a different part number. This set, with a 14mm lower O-ring, is listed for the supercharged Hellcat, Demon and Trackhawk, the 2007 to 2014 GT500, the E9x M3 and the Titan.

Are the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors a good choice for a Hellcat on E85?

Yes, for a heavily modified car. The ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors flow 2600cc per minute each and are rated for long term ethanol use, which suits a supercharged HEMI with added boost on E85. Pump and line capacity must keep up, so plan the fuel system as a whole.

Do the injectors require a retune on a modern HEMI?

Yes. The engine management must be updated with the flow, offset and short pulse data for the 2600, and the tuner needs access to the injector tables. Injector Dynamics publishes the characterization data, including a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts.

Should an E9x M3 owner choose the 2600?

Yes, but only for a supercharged or turbocharged car on E85 or methanol at high output. A naturally aspirated S65 has no use for this flow, and even a supercharged car on gasoline is better matched to a smaller Injector Dynamics flow class with more pulse width at idle.

What if one of the eight fails?

Injector Dynamics warrants the set against manufacturer defects for one year from purchase, with correct fuel and proper filtration as conditions. The eight are flow matched as a group, so a replacement is supplied through Injector Dynamics to suit the rest. Cleaning, inspection and flow testing are offered in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 8

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a set of eight are listed for the supercharged 6.2L HEMI in the Hellcat, Demon and Trackhawk, the 2007-2014 Mustang Shelby GT500, the E9x BMW M3 and the 2004-on Nissan Titan. Of those, the supercharged V8s are the natural home for 2600cc/min injectors once they run more boost on E85 or methanol. The E9x M3 and Titan only need this flow with added forced induction and alcohol fuel. Each 48mm body has a 14mm top adapter and 14mm lower O-ring, and Dual Slope Matching keeps eight cylinders even at short pulse widths.

Configuration

Eight 48mm bodies with 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings. The SRT-8 300C, Challenger and Magnum on the same Injector Dynamics list use a 14mm bottom adapter instead, so check the HEMI version before ordering.

Features

Roughly half again the flow of the ID1700x, and the largest injector Bosch supplies
Corrosion-resistant internals from a design developed with Bosch Motorsport
Suited to sustained use on E85, straight ethanol and methanol

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x8)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW M3: E90 / E92 / E93 | 2007+
Dodge Hellcat and Demon, Jeep Trackhawk: supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500: 2007-2014
Nissan Titan: 2004+

Notes

No connector adapters come with the USCAR plugs; a Denso-plug engine pairs with the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
The SRT-8 300C, Challenger and Magnum take a 14mm bottom adapter version instead
Keep the set away from nitromethane and from fuels blended with ethers such as MTBE, ETBE or TAME
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
