Which engines take the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this six injector set?

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with a 14mm top and black 14mm bottom adapter, set of six, for the BMW B58 Gen 3 and the Ford Falcon XR6T in FG form. Earlier BA and BF Falcons use the 60mm version, so check your model before ordering.

Will this set fit an earlier Falcon XR6T?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 48mm set for the FG Falcon XR6T only. The BA and BF XR6T are listed with a 60mm injector carrying a 14mm top and 14mm bottom adapter, sold as its own set of six, so match the injector length to your model before you order.

Which fuels are off limits for this six injector set?

Ethers and nitromethane. Injector Dynamics does not approve MTBE, ETBE or TAME, or nitromethane, for the ID2600-XDS. Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels are approved, which covers E85 and methanol builds on a B58 or an FG XR6T. Ask your supplier what any race fuel contains before using it.

Will these plug straight into a B58 or XR6T loom?

Yes, if the loom has USCAR plugs. The ID2600-XDS uses a USCAR connector, and Injector Dynamics offers separate plug and play adapters for Denso, EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012 and later Honda wiring. Check the connector on your current six injectors before fitting day.

Are all six injectors matched?

Yes. Injector Dynamics flow matches the six with Dual Slope Matching, checking them in the linear range and in the short, non-linear pulse range, so each cylinder of the inline six gets the same fuel at idle and under boost. Single replacements come through Injector Dynamics.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors come here as a set of six, each with a grey 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter, the layout Injector Dynamics lists for the third-generation BMW B58 and the FG Ford Falcon XR6T. Both are turbocharged inline sixes, and the 2600 is the class for owners who have gone past what an ID1750-XDS can supply. Rated at 2600cc/min nominal and 9 bar differential pressure, this set is aimed at methanol or very high boost on E85. A six on gasoline with a modest turbo upgrade would carry far more injector than it can use.

Configuration

Six injectors per set, each with the 14mm bottom adapter fitted. The B58 Gen 3 and the FG XR6T share this part number in the Injector Dynamics table, though their fuel rails and wiring differ, so check your connector before fitting.

Features

Highest-flowing injector Bosch offers, developed jointly with Injector Dynamics
Rated to 9 bar differential fuel pressure
Corrosion-resistant construction for alcohol fuels over the long term
Set matched with Dual Slope Matching, so balance holds down into the non-linear range

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (black)

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters fitted (x6)

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW: B58 Gen 3
Ford Falcon XR6T: FG

Notes

The connector is USCAR; plug-and-play adapters for Denso, EV1 and Honda wiring are separate parts, with the Denso version listed as the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Black 14mm bottom adapters come fitted, giving the injector a 14mm lower seal
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data
The ID2600-XDS needs at least 11 volts to operate

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
