Will this set fit a 370Z or G37?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the 370Z and G37 with a 14mm lower O-ring plus the GT-R lower spacer, a different part number. This set, with a plain 14mm lower O-ring, is listed for the 350Z and G35, as well as the E46 M3, the Nissan Patrol and the 996 and 997.1 Turbo.

Do the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors fit a non-turbo 996 Carrera?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for the 996 and 997.1 Turbo only. The naturally aspirated 996 and 997.1 use the 60mm body length, so a Carrera needs that configuration instead. Contact us with the model year if you are unsure which applies.

Is this flow class right for a supercharged E46 M3?

Yes, but only if it will run E85 or methanol at high boost. A supercharged S54 on pump gasoline is better served by a smaller flow class with more pulse width at idle. The 2600 is for the build where fuel volume, rather than injector control, is the limit.

Do I need new injector data in the ECU?

Yes. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the 2600, covering flow, offset and the short pulse range, with an offset of 605 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts. A tuner loads that data so the six injectors deliver accurate fuel from idle upward.

Which connector adapters might I need?

That depends on your engine. The injectors use USCAR plugs, and some engines are wired for other styles. Injector Dynamics makes plug and play adapters, including USCAR to Denso, that connect without cutting the factory wiring. Check one of your current injector plugs before ordering.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a set of six, with 14mm top adapters and 14mm lower O-rings, are the configuration Injector Dynamics lists for the E46 BMW M3, the Infiniti G35 and Nissan 350Z, the Nissan Patrol and the 996 and 997.1 Porsche 911 Turbo. All are six-cylinder engines, and at 2600cc/min per injector the set is meant for a supercharged or turbocharged six running E85 or methanol at high output. A 911 Turbo on upgraded turbos and ethanol fits that description; a naturally aspirated E46 M3 or 350Z with bolt-ons does not, and should use a smaller flow class.

Configuration

The 48mm body takes a 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring. The later G37 and 370Z are listed with a GT-R style lower spacer instead, and the naturally aspirated 996 and 997.1 Carrera use the 60mm length.

Features

Built with Bosch Motorsport around corrosion-resistant internals for liquid fuels
Matched by Dual Slope Matching so short pulse widths stay consistent from injector to injector
Handles up to 9.0 bar of differential fuel pressure

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

BMW M3: E46 | 2001-2006
Infiniti: G35
Nissan: 350Z and Patrol
Porsche 911 Turbo: 996 / 997.1

Notes

Electrical connection is USCAR; Injector Dynamics makes adapters for EV1, OBD2 Honda and 2012+ Honda plugs, sold separately, and Denso-wired engines use the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The 370Z and G37 take a GT-R style lower spacer instead, and the non-turbo 996 and 997.1 use the 60mm length
Recalibration of the engine management is mandatory, working from the Injector Dynamics data for the ID2600-XDS

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
