Which Honda and Acura models does this set fit?

Injector Dynamics lists this six piece configuration for the 2003 to 2007 Honda Accord V6, the 2002 to 2004 Odyssey, and the 2001 to 2003 Acura CL and TL. Other J-series cars are not on the list for this part number, so contact us with the year and engine if yours is not shown.

Why do these V6 injectors use the S2000 lower configuration?

The lower configuration describes how the injector seals at the manifold end, and Injector Dynamics uses the same S2000 style lower for these V6 engines as for the S2000. The F20 code in the part number refers to that lower, and the 11mm top adapter completes the fit at the rail.

Are the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors right for a boosted J-series?

Yes, if it runs E85 or methanol at high boost. The ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors deliver 2600cc per minute each, which suits that level of fuel demand. A boosted V6 on gasoline at moderate power is better matched to the 1050 or 1300 class in the same configuration.

Will I need a new fuel map?

Yes. The injector flow, offset and short pulse data all change, and the ECU needs them entered accurately to fuel the engine. Injector Dynamics publishes characterization data for the 2600, including a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, for the tuner to use.

How do these connect to the factory Honda wiring?

Each injector has a USCAR connector, and Injector Dynamics makes plug and play adapters for Honda OBD2 and other plug styles, sold separately, so the factory wiring can stay intact. Check the plug on an existing injector to choose the right adapter before ordering.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and S2000 Lower Configuration, Set of 6

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a set of six, with an 11mm top adapter and the S2000-style lower configuration, are what Injector Dynamics lists for the Honda J-series V6 in the 2003-2007 Accord, 2002-2004 Odyssey and 2001-2003 Acura CL and TL. This flow class is for a J-series that has been boosted and switched to E85 or methanol, where fuel volume climbs quickly. On a stock or mildly modified V6 using pump gasoline, 2600cc/min is far more than the engine can use, and the ID1050-XDS or ID1300-XDS in the same configuration is a closer fit.

Configuration

The 48 is the 48mm body, the 11 is the 11mm top adapter, and F20 is the S2000 lower configuration that Injector Dynamics also specifies for these V6 engines.

Features

Corrosion-resistant internals from a design developed with Bosch Motorsport
Roughly half again the flow of the ID1700x, and the largest injector Bosch supplies
A 9.0 bar differential pressure rating leaves room for raised base pressure

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 11mm adapter
Lower: S2000 lower configuration

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm top adapters and the S2000 lower configuration (x6)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Acura CL and TL: 2001-2003
Honda Accord: 2003-2007 | V6
Honda Odyssey: 2002-2004

Notes

The injectors carry USCAR plugs, so an engine wired for Denso connectors needs the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, while EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring takes adapters sold separately
Uses the same S2000 lower configuration and 11mm top adapter as the four-cylinder S2000 set, here in a count of six
Fit only with a tuner ready to recalibrate the ECU from the published Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
