Will this set fit my 2006 to 2009 S2000?

Yes. Injector Dynamics lists the 48mm body with a 14mm top adapter and 14mm lower O-ring for the 2006 to 2009 S2000. The 2000 to 2005 car uses an 11mm top with the S2000 lower configuration, a different part number, so confirm the year before ordering.

Do the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors suit an SRT-4 on E85?

Yes, when the car runs a larger turbo and high boost. The ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors supply the fuel volume E85 demands and are rated for long term ethanol use. A stock turbo SRT-4 on gasoline will use only a small part of the flow, so a smaller class makes more sense there.

Are these plug and play on a Honda?

Yes, mechanically, on the Honda and Acura models Injector Dynamics lists for this configuration. Electrically the injectors use USCAR plugs, and Honda wiring may need an Injector Dynamics USCAR to OBD2 or other plug and play adapter, sold separately. Check a factory plug to choose the right one.

Do I need a tune once these are in?

Yes. The ECU has to be set up with the flow, offset and short pulse data for the 2600, which Injector Dynamics publishes. Its offset is 605 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts. Without the new data the engine will run far too rich to drive.

What warranty does Injector Dynamics give?

One year from the purchase date against manufacturer defects, with correct fuel and proper filtration as conditions. The set of four is flow matched, so if one injector needs replacing, Injector Dynamics supplies it to match. Injector Dynamics also offers cleaning, inspection and flow testing in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this four-piece set, with a 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring, cover a long list of four-cylinder cars, from the Honda Civic, Acura RSX and TSX and 2006-2009 S2000 to the Neon and Caliber SRT-4 and the Sentra SE-R Spec V. Across all of them, 2600cc/min per injector is a big-turbo, alcohol-fuel number. A Neon SRT-4 on a larger turbo and E85, or a built Honda on methanol, can use it; a bolt-on car on pump gasoline cannot, and is better matched to the ID1300-XDS or ID1750-XDS in the same configuration. Dual Slope Matching keeps short pulses at idle consistent across all four.

Configuration

The 48 is the 48mm body, the first 14 is the 14mm top adapter and the second is the 14mm lower O-ring. Check that your current injectors match all three before ordering, since several of these cars had earlier generations with different configurations.

Features

Corrosion-resistant internals from a design developed with Bosch Motorsport
A 9.0 bar differential pressure rating leaves room for raised base pressure
Suited to sustained use on E85, straight ethanol and methanol

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Acura RSX and TSX: RSX 2002-2009 | TSX 2004-2010
Dodge SRT-4: Neon SRT-4 and Caliber SRT-4
Honda Civic: Si 2002-2005 | 2006-2011
Honda S2000: 2006-2009
Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V: 2000-2006

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; engines wired with Denso, EV1 or OBD2 plugs need plug-and-play adapters, sold separately, and for Denso wiring see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
The engine must be retuned for these injectors with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. In short, prices may change without notice. It is always advised to give us a call prior to placing your order online to confirm availability and to confirm current pricing.

Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
