Will this set fit a 2006 to 2009 S2000?

No. Injector Dynamics lists the S2000 lower configuration with an 11mm top for the 2000 to 2005 car. The 2006 to 2009 S2000 uses a 48mm injector with a 14mm top and a 14mm lower O-ring, which is a different part number. Check the model year before ordering.

Are the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors sensible on a naturally aspirated S2000?

No. The ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors are sized for a boosted S2000 on E85 or methanol. A naturally aspirated car, even with bolt-ons, uses a small fraction of this flow, and a smaller Injector Dynamics flow class in the same configuration leaves more pulse width at idle.

How do the injectors connect to S2000 wiring?

That depends on the wiring. The ID2600-XDS uses USCAR connectors, and Injector Dynamics makes USCAR to OBD2 Honda and other plug and play adapters, sold separately. Check the plug on one of your current injectors before ordering so the right adapter arrives with the set.

What kind of ECU work is needed?

A full recalibration, whatever the ECU. The ECU must be told the flow, offset and short pulse response of the 2600, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Whether that happens through a reflash or a standalone system depends on your build and your tuner.

How long is the warranty?

One year from purchase, against manufacturer defects. Injector Dynamics makes the warranty conditional on the correct fuel and proper filtration. The four injectors are flow matched as a set, so a single replacement is arranged through Injector Dynamics to keep them balanced.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 11mm Top and S2000 Lower Configuration, Set of 4

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set of four use an 11mm top adapter and the S2000 lower configuration that Injector Dynamics specifies for the 2000-2005 Honda S2000. On a naturally aspirated S2000 these are far larger than needed; they make sense once the car has been turbocharged or supercharged and moved to E85 or methanol, with a fuel pump to match. The 2600 holds up to 9.0 bar of differential pressure and has corrosion-resistant internals for long-term alcohol use. Dual Slope Matching keeps the four consistent at the short pulse widths an S2000 sees at idle and cruise.

Configuration

F20 in the part number is the S2000 lower configuration, and 11 is the 11mm top adapter on a 48mm body. The 2006-2009 S2000 uses a 14mm top with a 14mm lower O-ring instead, so check the year of the car.

Features

Flows about 50 percent more than the ID1700x, the highest rate of any Bosch injector
Matched by Dual Slope Matching so short pulse widths stay consistent from injector to injector
Rated for methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels over the long term

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 11mm adapter
Lower: S2000 lower configuration

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 11mm top adapters and the S2000 lower configuration (x4)

Applications

Injector Dynamics lists the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this configuration for:

Honda S2000: 2000-2005

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; engines wired with Denso, EV1 or OBD2 plugs need plug-and-play adapters, sold separately, and for Denso wiring see the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Configured with the S2000 lower and an 11mm top adapter for the 2000-2005 car; the 2006-2009 S2000 uses a different configuration
The engine must be retuned for these injectors with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before it is driven

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

Additional Information

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately our website is unable to compensate dynamically for what can at times be volatile changes in the cost of items due to currency values fluctuating, changes in prices from suppliers, changes in shipping and import duties, and other factors. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. We will continue to do our best to maintain updated prices and we will always continue to offer our price match guarantees as well to ensure our prices are always the best for you. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
