What is the bottom adapter on these injectors for?

It gives the injector a 14mm lower seal for manifolds and rails built around that bore. Injector Dynamics offers the same 48mm body with plain 14mm or 15mm lower O-rings and with Denso cushions, and the bottom adapter version is the one to order when your current injectors use an adapter in that position.

Is there a vehicle list for the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in a set of three?

No. Injector Dynamics does not publish applications for the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this three injector configuration. Fitment depends on your fuel system taking a 48mm body, a 14mm top and a 14mm bottom adapter. If you are unsure, send us your current injector part number before ordering.

Can a three cylinder engine run these on E85?

Yes. Injector Dynamics rates the ID2600-XDS for ethanol, methanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels, so this trio can carry a three cylinder E85 or methanol build to very high output. Avoid ethers such as MTBE, ETBE and TAME, along with nitromethane, which Injector Dynamics does not approve.

Does my ECU need the injector data for this trio?

Yes. Each of the three injectors flows 2600cc per minute nominal with a 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts, so the calibration must be rebuilt around the Injector Dynamics characterization data. Running on the previous injector settings would leave fueling badly wrong from the first start.

What if one of the three injectors fails?

Injector Dynamics supplies single replacements for its flow matched sets, so the trio stays balanced. Defects are covered for one year from purchase when the injectors run the correct fuel with proper filtration. Injector Dynamics can also clean, inspect and flow test the set in Arizona.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Bottom Adapter, Set of 3

Injector Dynamics’ ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors in this set are three matched 2600cc/min injectors with a grey 14mm top adapter and a black 14mm bottom adapter, for a fuel system that calls for three injectors of that layout. The bottom adapter carries the lower seal at 14mm, so confirm your manifold was built around it. No injector Bosch offers flows more. A three-cylinder on gasoline at moderate power is better served by a smaller flow class; this one is for alcohol and serious boost.

Configuration

In the part number, 48 is the body length, the first 14 is the top adapter and 14B is the bottom adapter. Measure the injectors you are replacing against all three before you order.

Features

ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors flow matched as a set of three
Corrosion-resistant internals for long-term ethanol and methanol service
About 50 percent more flow than the ID1700x
Dual Slope Matching across the linear and non-linear range for consistency at short pulse widths

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter (grey)
Lower: 14mm bottom adapter (black)

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters and 14mm bottom adapters fitted (x3)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 48mm injector with 14mm top and 14mm bottom adapter.

Notes

USCAR connectors are fitted; Denso, EV1 and OBD2 Honda wiring each need a plug-and-play adapter, sold separately, and for Denso plugs that is the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter
Black 14mm bottom adapters come fitted, giving the injector a 14mm lower seal
The engine management must be recalibrated with the Injector Dynamics characterization data before the engine is driven
Keep injector supply voltage at or above the 11 volt minimum Injector Dynamics specifies

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
