Which vehicles use this ten injector configuration?

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this 48mm set of ten with a 14mm top adapter and lower O-ring. It suits custom fuel systems built for that length and seal size. Viper V10 engines appear on the Injector Dynamics list in other configurations, so confirm which one your engine uses.

Can the ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors replace a Viper set?

No, not for the Viper years Injector Dynamics lists. It shows the 2008 to 2010 Viper with a 14mm bottom adapter and the 2013 to 2017 Viper with a gold bottom adapter, not the plain O-ring on these ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors. Choose the configuration listed for your Viper year instead.

What electrical supply do these injectors need?

Injector Dynamics specifies a minimum of 11 volts for the ID2600-XDS, which uses USCAR connectors. On a ten cylinder engine, check the injector feed wiring for voltage drop under load. Engines with Denso, EV1 or OBD2 plugs need Injector Dynamics plug and play adapters, sold separately.

Is methanol safe in these injectors?

Yes. The 2600 was developed with Bosch Motorsport for liquid fuels and is rated for long term methanol and ethanol use. It is not rated for nitromethane or ether blends such as MTBE, ETBE and TAME. Use proper fuel filtration, which is also a condition of the warranty.

What calibration work is required?

A full injector setup in the ECU. The tuner enters flow, offset and short pulse data from the Injector Dynamics characterization sheet for the 2600, including the 605 microsecond offset at 43.5 psi and 12 volts. With ten cylinders, accurate short pulse data keeps idle smooth and even.

Description

Injector Dynamics ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with 14mm Top and 14mm Lower O-Ring, Set of 10

Ten-cylinder engines make a short list, and Injector Dynamics publishes no vehicle list for this set of ten ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors with a 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring. It suits a V10 or custom fuel system built around a 48mm injector with those seals, and the 2600cc/min flow class points to a big-power build on E85 or methanol. The Viper V10 appears on Injector Dynamics’ list, but in other configurations with bottom adapters or a 60mm body, so measure before ordering.

Choosing This Configuration

The 48mm body sits between the 34mm and 60mm options. Before ordering ten ID2600-XDS 48mm Fuel Injectors, check that your rail and manifold take a 48mm injector with a 14mm top adapter and a plain 14mm lower O-ring rather than a bottom adapter.

Features

Flows about 50 percent more than the ID1700x, the highest rate of any Bosch injector
Published offset of 605 microseconds at 43.5 psi and 12 volts gives the tuner a firm starting point
Rated for methanol, ethanol and all known hydrocarbon fuels over the long term

Specifications

Nominal flow: 2600cc/min
Maximum differential fuel pressure: 9.0 bar (130.5 psi)
Minimum voltage: 11 volts
Fuel compatibility: Methanol, ethanol, all known hydrocarbons; not ethers or nitromethane
Electrical connector: USCAR
Body length: 48mm
Top: 14mm adapter
Lower: 14mm O-ring

What’s Included

ID2600-XDS fuel injectors with 14mm top adapters fitted (x10)

Applications

Injector Dynamics does not publish a vehicle list for this configuration; it fits fuel systems built for a 48mm injector with a 14mm top adapter and a 14mm lower O-ring.

Notes

No connector adapters come with the USCAR plugs; a Denso-plug engine pairs with the Injector Dynamics USCAR to Denso PnP Adapter, and EV1 or OBD2 wiring needs the matching Injector Dynamics adapter
Plain 14mm lower O-rings are fitted, with no bottom adapter; Viper V10 sets on the Injector Dynamics list use other configurations
An ECU recalibration is required after fitting, using the Injector Dynamics characterization data

About Injector Dynamics

Injector Dynamics is an Arizona injector specialist and an authorized technical partner of Bosch Motorsport, developing its injectors to its own specification rather than modifying production parts. It introduced slope and offset matching in 2007, and its Dual Slope Matching, developed by engineer Aaron Looft, extends matching into the short pulse widths that boosted and ethanol engines rely on. Its flow benches are built in house and calibrated against a NIST-traceable flow prover. Injector Dynamics supplied the emissions-compliant injectors for the twin-turbo Noble M600, and its injectors were fitted to the first seven-second Nissan GT-R and the first 300 mph motorcycle.

The Bulletproof Automotive website contains many thousands of products purchased in multiple different currencies. All of the prices are entered manually and accurately at the time of entry. Due to the consistently fluctuating international exchange rates, at times prices may not be able to be honored at their original intended rate. Rest assured that any order you place on line will be at zero risk to you in this area. If in the event your order cannot be fulfilled at the original intended website price we will offer you a 100% refund, no questions asked. Shipping Policy

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Special order items from overseas take considerably longer. As a courtesy Bulletproof offers delivery estimates to our customers which take into consideration manufacturer availability and shipping schedule. These estimates represent our best guess based on previous orders from the manufacturer and do not in any way imply a guaranteed delivery window. Many manufacturers work in a “just in time” inventory system and often take 2-20+ weeks to produce an item once an order is submitted. All deliverable items are then sent to our Japanese warehouse. Bulletproof ships a minimum of one full ocean freight container every month from Japan, oftentimes more than one a month. Ocean freight takes an average of 4 weeks. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do. By ordering you acknowledge that there is no required delivery ETA and an order may not be canceled or altered due to manufacturing or shipping delays, all ETA’s are provided as a best guess only. BP Pricing Difference

We do pricing a little differently on our JDM brands and we believe in making things simple and clear. No hidden fees or surcharges. Every price you see includes the shipping cost to our office in Los Angeles, California and all the associated taxes/duties/fees for bringing the products into the US. The only shipping you ever pay is from our facility in the US to your location. Be wary of resellers that don’t include the cost of international shipping in their pricing on JDM parts. While we believe we’ll always have the lowest all-in price on JDM products, we offer a price match guarantee for all authentic parts purchased from authorized dealers as well. For many international customers, it’s much more affordable to ship from the USA than from Japan directly, as the air freight and ocean freight costs are typically much less. However, for customers looking to ship directly from Japan outside of North America, or domestically in Japan, we can provide pricing specifically for that scenario. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any pricing questions or concerns. Please email us at sales@bulletproofautomotive.com with any inquiries.
